Awakening Striker is a high DPS, large AoE, durable, easy-to-play, and highly mobile class. For example, it allows you to cast 6 skills consecutively by holding down the F key.
Core Mechanic:
Martial Spirit Shards: Striker features a mechanic called Martial Spirit Shards. Certain skills generate shards, while others consume them.
Shard Consuming Skills:
Skull Crusher, Rampaging Predator, and Fallout consume 1 shard each to deal increased damage.
Shard Threshold Rule:
These skills will not consume a shard unless you have at least 2 shards available. For instance, if you only have 1 shard, these skills cannot consume it to boost their damage.
Prey Hunt: Requires 3 shards to cast and grants a +20% Attack Speed buff for 20 seconds.
Prey Hunt Empowered Skills:
While the Prey Hunt buff is active, you can cast the following skills in their most powerful forms: Wolf's Gang, Wolf's Explosive Fangs, and Heart and Soul.
If you execute the combo as instructed, Prey Hunt will remain active at all times, and you will always have enough shards for your shard-consuming skills.
Skill Add-ons:
You must use the specified skill add-on list when using this combo. When executed correctly, the combo is designed to keep all add-on buffs and debuffs continuously active. Debuff add-ons and the "Recover HP per target" add-on are deliberately placed on high-AoE skills so they apply to as many mobs as possible.
Combo Tips & Positioning Mechanics:
Landing Back Attacks is key to maximizing a class's damage, and Awakening Striker excels exceptionally well at maintaining them. You can use Echo Spirit or Silent Step anywhere in the combo to reposition behind mobs when needed. You can also press S after Battle Cry or Prey Hunt to evade backward. You can also rotate your camera during Battle Cry or Prey Hunt to adjust your evade direction freely before pressing S.
Quick Slot Options: You can optionally place Wolf's Gang on a Quick Slot. If you do, you won't need to use Knee Hammer, since casting Wolf's Gang from a Quick Slot automatically switches your weapon from Gardbrace to Gauntlet. (Personally, I find it tricky to use skills via Quick Slot).
Basic Attack Cancel: Performing a single lateral basic attack right after Autumn Blaze serves two purposes: first, it grants an AP buff; second, it allows you to cast Ultimate Crush faster.
Pack Transition: If the mobs die mid-combo, move to the next pack immediately and resume the combo where you left off—don't wait for the opening skill to come off cooldown.
